Day 3

Thursday, January 03, 2013

Well, today seems a little better as far as tracking goes. I tracked my water and food but haven't figured out how to track what I did today as exercise. I also know that what I ate isn't the healthiest choice. I love my kids but I don't want to tell them how to eat. They aren't into eating healthy, they're more into hurry, cook and clean up. That mean's many package foods. Because I'm a guest in their homes, I'm trying to keep my mouth shut and just eat what they serve. I've offered to buy the groceries and cook meals but they don't want me to "work" in their homes. I would love more veggies but even my grandkids don't care for that. I have another lesson to learn...let my kids make their own choices and let them be adults, appreciate that they've given me a place to stay and to try to make the best of my situation.

Depending on what you did for fitness there are different ways you can track it. I use the old tracker, it works much better for me. Try to add up the minutes you've walked normally and add that in. More vigorous workouts can be added by low impact aerobics depending on how intense they were it could be high impact aerobics. Sparks videos have most of their workouts on the trackers, the cardio ones. You can click on "other exercises" under browse and scroll down to find them. :) It does take a little time to catch on to tracking fitness, but after you've done it a few times it'll be easy. :) HUGS!
