The Bikini Diet: Who's Bikini Are We Talking About?

Monday, January 21, 2013

Yep, I'm sparking instead of working. I just read the article about the Bikini Diet. What could it hurt? I dream of it... I doubt it, but I imagine my head on someone else's long legs all the time...say, 5'8 and am actual tan, since I don't do that. :) In my dream there isn't a tummy issue in sight...

Anyhow, in this spark article it talks about envisioning your bra cup, and then your bikini on a 9 inch plate. And then it mentions how the proper amount of food should fit in it. And here is where I started laughing.

Those of you who know me a while know that I used to be a size 18 at my largest, a 16 when I joined spark on a good day. I was a D then, and despite the weight loss and being in size 6 jeans now, I am still a D cup. Now the circumference went down, but I'm still a D, and I know I could cover or load more food than I should properly fit into that bra like bikini top. In fact, I'm the girl who loses food down her top sometimes. (You know what I'm talking about... Go to a movie, come home, and half of the popcorn is in your bra ready for a double feature. ) I'm guessing on this section of my journey, they aren't going much of anywhere either.

I just think maybe there should be some clarification about the bikini, what size bikini top... Are we talking Kat Dennings or Kate Hudson? I'm just saying...

I think for now, I will stick to my old measuring tools. ;)

Good luck on your week, everyone!

Hee, hee, this is great! I'd be ok, as I am not as endowed, yet you raise a great point! It would certainly not be one size fits all :D
