Well I got talked in to doing this diet that I am now not sure I should have done. If any of you have heard about it is called HCG. I was told would lose at least 1 Lb a day and keep it off forever, stupid me listened. I started it on Jan 7th and today is day 32 of a 43 day round. When I first started I was in awe as I was losing weight like crazy, I mean stupid crazy 2-3 lbs a day for the first week. Then it slowed down to at least 1 lb a day. I thought wow this is great, I can do this for 43 days with results like this. After the second week I started slowing down with losses, even had a couple of gains. Now the past week I have been going up one day and down the next. I am not feeling good, having issues with my bowels to the point I had not had a BM last week for 5 days and had to start taking magnessium to help get me regular again. Today my coach told me that I should try a "stall breaker" so stupid me listened and all I am to eat today is 4 chicken thighs at lunch time and only drink water the rest of the day. Well I did that and now guess what I can't stay out of the bathroom...I know too much info..lol
So let me back track for any that don't know what this diet is. You take the hcg 3 times a day and only eat 500 calories a day for 40 days. Then for 3 days stop taking the hcg and still eat 500 calories. Then go into the next phase and up your calories to 1200 or so a day but no carbs or sugars and light excersize. During all these days you are to weight every day. When in the phase without hcg if you go up 2lbs you are to do a correction day and it gives you a choice of a few to choose from. After the 21 days you can either go on to normal eating but still watch your weight or you can start the whole diet over again.
well like i said i am on day 32 and I think it's time I stop. My body is not responding well right now, I am not getting enough sleep, I am having the other issue I mentioned. Granted in the 32 days I have lost 22 lbs and 16" over all my body. That is what got me on onderland!!
But as of now, no more. I am going to give my body the proper nutrients it needs this weekend and get it back stronger. Then come Monday morning I am going to start eating properly and I mean clean healthy foods as my food guide here says and I am going to start doing my Turbo Jam workout dvd program 5 days a week. I know I can get the last 50 lbs off I want to lose the proper way without these gimmik diets that I truly wonder if even work.
I still can't believe people dont gain it back if they go back to their normal eating after the hcg diet.
Call me stupid and gullible cause that is what I am.
