So, I am getting older and all kinds of changes have been happening to me, physically. Recently, I have been feeling a little anxious for no reason and I have been worrying about it, which would make me even more anxious! My friends would talk about being on different prescriptions that will alleviate these feelings I have been experiencing, but personally, I don't think popping a pill is the solution for my problems. There had to be an underlying reason for these new feelings.
Looking back, all of my "episodes" occurred in environments that where a little close for comfort. My first panic attack happened at The Happiest Place On Earth, on a new ride that strapped you in tight and simulated a moon landing. God bless my husband, because he could talk me down and out of it, because, once we were seated and the doors shut, there was no getting off until the ride ended.
The next episode occurred years later, but they where coming more frequently.
Fast forward to the present.
I have been excersizing for about 6 weeks, and watching my food intake much more closely. I've cut out unhealthy foods and drinks, have increased my consumption of veggies and am drinking a ton of water. Besides my clothes fitting better and feeling more energetic, I realized that I have not had any anxiety problems for quite awhile. Hopefully, this is an extra perk that comes with living a healthier lifestyle!
