OK. It was a shaky start after I found a pothole with my recovering leg but it stopped hurting by mile 5. I was on track to finish around the 2 hour mark give or take 5 minutes. But my friend who was running with me was having trouble and I stayed with him for 4 miles. Then he told me to go ahead because he needed to walk. Even with those slow 4 miles with him I still pulled off a 2:16 time which bested my 2:39 time from a year ago. WooHoo
As for my leg, it is fine so far. I will be taking a couple of days off from running to allow some recovery time.
