On the right track!

Tuesday, October 01, 2013

Well... Yesterday, I had after work (at 6) my biweekly nutrition group. When I finished work, I rushed into the gym to do my workout before my appointment.

I did it! Okay, I finished my training at 5h57 and had to run to put my regular clothes on and I was sweating a lot when I entered the room but I'm glad I didn't cut my session just to be in advance for the meeting.

We talked a lot about the snacks before and after the workout, and we also discussed about how to do great on week-ends. Because I have to admit it, it's my biggest weakness!

This week-end, I managed to eat all sort of crap because I'm so strict on week days that I go crazy when I have my days off. I know that there is a guide on how to survive the week-end on SP but it didn't really help me. I have to find my own tips.

At the end of the meeting, the nutritionist told us that she wouldn't weigh us in unless we wanted to. Since one of my objectives was to lose 1 pound per week, I asked her to weigh in (and at the same time, see the damage I did to myself on the week-end because I binged 3 days). Finally, I wasn't so bad because I learned that I lost 2.4 pounds in 2 weeks. Nice! Goal met =)

I wish more people would get help with their nutrition when they need it. I know so much more after my two nutrition classes in college (even if one was for athletes). I understand so much more about how my body works and why I need certain kinds of foods even when I'm losing weight.
