Goal Review

Friday, November 29, 2013

Is it OK to post goals when you aren't sure you will reach them? I think it must be. If you don't have a target, how do yo know when you hit it or miss it?

I reviewed my goals today re my weight loss journey. I need to somehow kick start it all over again. I have a VERY modest goal to lose a kilo a month for the next twelve months. That will get me part way to my goal weight. Now I just have to figure out how to get the body to cooperate with me in reaching this goal.

How much better will I feel next year, when i am 12 kilos lighter! I will have more energy, more flexibility, and be able to move on to a new goal to lose another 12 kilos in a year....

What is your best tip for losing weight in your 60s??

As much as I hate doing it, and I'm not as faithful as I should be, using the tracker is what helps me most. Also remember to switch up your exercise routine now and again to keep your body from getting "comfortable" with your exercise.

I know what a struggle is! I'm right here with you, trying to move forward and do the best I can!

Tracking - using tracking to build healthy "consistency" habit(s).
That is what popped into my mind when I read the question. Ultimately we each have to find our own road to success, and the road is constantly changing... up / over / round / through.... new terrain all the time. Which by the way is lucky, otherwise the journey would get very boring!!
    Safe journey.
