A Brand New Month

I have an hour and twenty minutes left in the first day of the first month, and I am fairly satisfied with what I have accomplished. Not everything I wanted to, of course, but I did get the most pressing things done: baking for church tomorrow, tracking my food and exercise (marching in place to The Corries tunes! ), doing the weekly laundry, and "shining my sink" before going to bed. FlyLady is great for helping people like me to focus. My sewing room is still a mess, BUT I have gotten some work done in it, something that is sometimes hard to do if it's TOO tidy. All in all, I think I am on track for the month. One day, one hour, and one minute at a time! And, as Scarlett O'Hara famously said in "Gone with the Wind," "tomorrow IS another day!"

    Between FlyLady routines and Spark tracking, I am able to focus a LOT better! Now to keep using the tools available to me! Which reminds me: I should do my evening routine now so that I CAN "go to bed at a decent hour."

    I need to get back to being a flybaby my house could sure use it. I will have to check out the chore for today on the fly lady team. emoticon
