Day 134 of Cardio Streak! and the move...

Today is day 134 of my cardio streak of at least 20 minutes of cardio each day! Never in all my thoughts, did i think that this streak would go so far! I know one day it will end, but in reality, building this streak has built me a habit of exercise. I have learned that exercise, though possibly exhausting at times, has HUGE benefits. I not only have greatly increased my physical health, but I have also had lots of time to reflect and think about the things going on around me.

A few know that I moved back to my college town this past monday, in order to get and keep a place for this next school year. Yes, I already have my bachelors of science in biology and chemistry, but I have found that I need to take another two chem courses and at least one if not two calculus courses. I am working on taking these this next acedemic year. When I moved, I lost some access to the exercise equipment that I had. However, I still have my recumbant exercise bike, a jump rope, a set of small free weights, and of course my tennis shoes. I have also gained access to the weight room/workout room on campus. It is open five days a week during the summer. There is also an incredible trail with some beautiful scenery on it about two blocks away from my apartment. It follows the Missouri River for awhile while going though some small forests and some open fields. There are also some incredible limestone bluffs that you can actually reach out your hand and touch along the way. I will have to take some pics with my camera and add them to my sp photoalbum.
