The ugly little beastie!!!

Monday, July 14, 2014

I ponder to myself.....hmmmm Mandy....you never cared about that little beastie when you were eating whatever you wanted whenever you wanted and you were very content......you judged your weight by the way your pants feel.....and when you continued to go up in size you finally decided to visit beastie to see how much damage you have done over the last couple of months......That was a healthy relationship with that emotionally charged device that the second it speaks to me through a glowing scream of numbers creates euphoria or depression.....can we say roller coaster???

Why is it that the second I decide I'm going to eat healthy that my relationship with the scale becomes UNHEALTHY?.....trying to ride that rollercoaster (as the Beatles would say) " 8 days a week". Well, enough is enough.....

Beastie is being banished to the corner of the bathroom where it shall collect dust until I go down a pant size.....then I shall step on that little $hit and force me to show something good!!!!

I'm going to be content with focusing on cleaning my body from the inside. I'm going to celebrate eating healthy, drinking lots of water, exercising daily and connecting with others on the same journey to healthy living that I am!

I will have a healthy relationship with food AND THE SCALE....so goodbye beastie! I won't miss you. :)

Yes - the scale is a tool not a master and banishing it for now makes all the sense in the world!
