Sunday Slide into Thanksgiving
Sunday, November 23, 2014
Today was a bit more challenging than usual. I have to get up earlier on Sundays to get to church for choir rehearsal, so I didn't have enough sleep. My brain was foggy, my head stuffy, but at least my voice was in good shape. We sounded good today.
It is also Scottish Sunday, when we Presbyterians celebrate our Scottish heritage. I wore my kilt, but it was not easy getting it on. Yet another reminder of the weight I've gained over the past few months.
We got a few more of the holiday decorations put up outside, rewired the big wreath outside the house, and Steve got more of the leaves picked up. We also walked the dogs for a nice long walk and good pace, so I'm glad I got some exercise in.
I can't believe Thanksgiving is just a few days away.
