Life's changes that make life more challenging

Saturday, December 27, 2014

has been awhile since I have blogged and wanted to share the news with all of you. i have recently been diagnosed with Fibromialgia. Learning to live with it is a bit daunting as one never knows what each day will bring. taking time to slow down when one has so much more to do then the body can stand.

However I also have good news. Im also closer to reaching my goal of my weight loss journey. That totally amazes me still that I am within forty pounds of my goal! never thought i would get here and be so close. that means tthat through the years i have lost 869 pounds so far!!! Yes you read that right! with the yo-yoing of the weight for many years I lost that much in totalYes . So I can finally say NEW KNEES AND A NEW RIGHT ANKLE HERE i COME!!!! iM PROUD TO SAY I HAVE DONE IT!! Yes I still have a few pounds to go yet, but I know I will get there now. Yes it can be done and it is worth the long journey. remember that I didnt have surgery of any kind for htis weight journey. Just did diet exercise and yes LOTS AND LOTS OF ICE WATER.!!!!!!!!!!

iT IS SO REWARDING TO BE ABLE TO SAY THAT iM ALMOST THERE AND LOOKING FORWARD TO A LIFE FILLED WITH LOTS OF HOPE AND JOY.

now adding the fibro adds another challenge. however i wont give up and i will keep on going like the energizer bunny! i know now I have to cut down the caffeine, chocolate and the refined sugars. lol Laughed at the dr and said thats not a problem as I already do t all of that. But your not taking my weekly dark chocolate from me !!!!!! lol will try to do some pt and learn to not push so hard and not to stress about the things that I dont get done and learning to slow down. oh well life throws us curves and challenges that we all must cross the hurdles. so will try to keep positive and look forward.

wish all of the sparks family a great new year in 2015! happy new year to you all
