So my weight has been yo-yo-ing a bit over the last 2 years. I was at 162 about 2 years ago and dreamt of 155, at which I'd be content that I reached my goal.

Then it crept up into the high 160-s, then the low 170-s and now closer to 180. I don't know, I'm pretty low carb, so I must just be eating too much. Grrrrr, gotta take hold of the situation.

I'm not following one of my primary rules, which is to eat only when hungry, not for entertainment.

I have struggled with the same 10 pounds for the past three years until I discovered the Beck Diet Solution and Jorge Cruise The 100 which counts only sugar calories. Beck is based upon cognitive therapy approaches which has helped me think like a thin person. JC's book has a 4 week diet to follow and suggestions for the rest of your life.

You can do this! Check out each of the books and let me know!

Sounds like you know what to do, but being human, it is difficult. Sounds like you have done a great job getting your weight and body under control, now you just have to find a way to maintain it. There are many resources here that talk about weight maintenance. I am not there yet, but some day hope to be emoticon

I do pretty well but when I eat at a restaurant I easily fall down. Once I cut that down things drastically improved. Cutting down to an occasional drink helped too
