Finally Moved In
Tuesday, February 03, 2015
It's been a crazy year already and it's only February 2015! Thankfully mostly everything has been positive and we can finally say that our condo has been completed and we were able to move in at the beginning of the year. So we are getting ourselves acclimated to living in the north once again and learning how to deal with the extremely cold temperatures. Thankfully we now have a real furnace (no more freezing thanks to the heat pumps in the southern states). Hooray! Additionally we are trying to get everything changed over still to our new condo address and so on. Things are moving though and I hope to finally get into a new routine soon. Setting up the routine of getting things done is the hardest isn't it? Any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks. :)
As for my weight - I am sooo happy to state that even though we were not working out most of the time, under extreme stress and not eating 100% normal I did not have bad results. Actually over the last 8 months of going in and out of moving and traveling I did not gain one pound! Hooray! I think that attests to just eating healthy when possible, trying to kick the prepackaged items and keeping vegan. I jumped on the scale the other day when it arrived in the moving truck and could not believe my eyes. It was something very positive and I couldn't have been happier about it. I was guessing I had gained a lot of weight because we were not watching exactly what we ate and I was eating more than normal. We were walking the dog but thanks to the cold weather we haven't been able to do that most of the time since about two months ago. (Still not a fan of cold weather for this reason.)
So, I'm going to start up again (not over). I guess this trial time shows me I know what my body wants and when it needs it. Learning how to live healthy instead of dieting is always the best way to change a life on a skinnier side.
