March recap and April 2015

Hi all! It's been a long time since I blogged but life has been so busy! So here I am... almost 4 months after re-starting and I have lost 10 lbs so far. I initally had a goal of losing 30 lbs and that would have been nice but the important thing is that I lost 10. At first I just kept getting so discouraged that I wasn't losing this weight faster but then I realized I was letting stupid goals get in the way of my actual progress. So from now on, I am just going to make the goal of ***staying on track and losing weight.*** No numbers!
So I have about a month before I turn the big 30! And I just want to make sure I feel great going into my 30's. I'm going to try my hardest to be as on track as I possibly can. That means no more Easter candy and excuses not to go to the gym. My goal for April is to fit into some clothing that I haven't been able to fit into since last year. I tired on 1 pair of size 14 jeans that used to be extremely tight and now they are just snug. haha I can't wait until they are comfortable again. I literally have like 1 pair of jeans and 2 pairs of dress pants that fit comfortably. So here's my April plan:
-Staying under 1500 calories per day
-3 small meals daily
-2 snacks daily (with fruit/veggies and not 100 calorie packs with no nutrition)
-5 days of exercise
2 days of strength training ( that means dragging my butt to the gym)
Simple right? I can do it! How is everyone else doing?
