Day 136 - Uplifting Moments

Reading the comments from my post yesterday and all the love and support that was pouring out turned a dark day into one that was barely dim. I cannot thank you all enough.
Today was better, although there are still some challenges ahead as we near the end of the home sale in Sacramento. We are so close, but we keep finding out about additional delays, thanks to our wonderful California lawmakers. There are so many protections for home buyers that the sellers are left hanging until just a few days before closing. There's little balance in the equation, but I just hope that at this point, we are beyond the point of backing out. We are supposed to close in 10 days. Fingers crossed. Prayers are appreciated.
I got to leave the office early, as the Board of Directors was having a meeting at 3pm and needed the place to themselves. I think I'll like the 2nd Tuesday of the month - I can count on a short day. I came home and we moved a bunch of furniture around. We've decided to turn the middle bedroom upstairs into the office, and that means we are selling the last queen bed.
We will be looking for a sectional sofa for the living room that has a queen sleeper built in, so that we have a little more sleeping space for future houseguests. Suggestions are welcome!
I am in awe of the wonderful support that I continue to receive from you all in your comments, both on my blog posts and on my SparkPage.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
