Limitations are hard

I have put off blogging because I'm feeling a bit out of sorts. Work has been very stressful and I have had some setbacks on my Yearly goal. Every month this year I was adding more exercise. All went well until my strength training exercises caused reoccurring shoulder pain and a pulled muscle. I then had to give those up for a time, but at least kept the cardio going. I was hoping to also add walking to the activities I do, but I have another foot problem that I'm waiting on the next doctor appointment to get the MRI results and a plan of action. So I was at least still able to ride my exercise bike. I also did a couple of days raking the gardens of the winter debris and hauling wheelbarrows full to dump. It was during Sunday's clean up that I started having a hard time walking. My knee (which always has a little pain) starting hurting with every step. It got to the point that I started taking breaks and icing it. I also kept telling myself that I should stop what I was doing, but my other self did not listen. By the end of the day Sunday I got barely stand up and walk. Here I am three days later and it still hurts to walk, but I do think it is getting better... slowly but surely. So now I am not exercising at all. I hate admitting that I have these issues and I hate that my Yearly goal is not progressing at this time. I know I will get back to it, but I feel so bad having all these health issues. Sunday I thought that maybe I should have surgery to loss weight quicker so I could get myself to a better weight to not put so much weight on all my aching joints. Having said all this I do want to end on a happy note!
