Starting All Over Again

Friday, June 26, 2015

Life is quite funny.

It will throw several things your way to knock you off-path but one thing I've learned is to press and push through...no matter what.

So, I guess the whole thing equates to me having a new start. I weighed myself this morning and I was 4 lbs less than what i was when I weighed in yesterday at 326 lbs. I was like emoticon WAYMENT....I'm what???? Sooooooooo....lol...yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and do it this time so that my 30's will be extremely awesome and full of life.

Here are some updated photos from last year...just a year ago!

Well, just one...lol. That was after I did a 100 day juice/smoothie fast. It was awesome and I vlogged about it and blogged about it, too. It was a really great learning experience.

I'm looking forward to getting my sexy back because I don't feel like I did in the above photo. Soon enough though. emoticon

Okay, that's enough for now. It's great to be back and refocused.

Let's goooo!!!

The Motivator of the Day. What an honor.
So, if I understand your blog correctly, you are back to 326# and working to get off the weight? Okay. I would just like to say please listen to the six one-hour lectures by JASON FUNG M.D. on YouTube as he talks about why we regain the weight we lose unless we work at keeping it off for at least one year so our body makes a new "set point.". I've learned so much about Insulin Resistance. Your juice fast is interesting. He says doing fasting helps with getting our blood sugar normal.
    You can do it.
I never cared for Weight Watchers, but one woman in her blog said she had gastric bypass and she went to weigh in so she had a weekly place to "face" someone. Once you are at goal and keep it off, then the meetings are then free, so that is a good deal. She had kept the weight off.
