ANOTHER New Beginning!

Sunday, July 19, 2015

I haven't had much success keeping on task and can easily think I don't have what it takes. BUT, I have logged on to Spark for a bit over 200 days now, so that shows I CAN be somewhat disciplined. I have started exercising again as well as tracking my food intake, so I am hoping to add to the near-50-pound weight loss had last year. That came together with some health issues, I am hoping that what I learned from that experience will help me have a healthier weight loss THIS year. I feel better, and people have noticed my weight loss. My skin looks better, too, so I am trying to focus on health improvements rather than scale numbers. Stay tuned!

50 lbs. in one year that is absolutely fantastic. You are on the right track girl. After age 60 I think it is harder to lose weight but we can do it if we put our minds to it. I reached goal and then fall of the track and it's hard to get motivated again.

Losing and maintaining weight loss is so difficult. Since I am now at the age of 60, it seems even harder. But let's just take it one day at a time. emoticon

Have you tried joining SparkCoach? They offer a free week's trial so you can see if it is a good fit for you. I found it helped me focus better on my goals and get side tracked less. I've heard around the SparkPeople community similar results for others, as well as some who don't like it at all, making it all the nicer they give you a free trial to see if your in the later group or not before joining.

Best wishes at meeting your goals! emoticon
