Second Day in a Row!

I can't believe I am actually writing two days in a row, but I think I need to do so to be accountable. Today I rode the exercise bike AND stretched, something I need to do more. The stretching, that is. It DOES feel good! And I need to be more structured so I can get my strength training in. My mom will be 97 in less than a week, but she hasn't kept as active as she might have for better mobility at this age. I think she was afraid of damaging her "new knees" after knee replacement surgery. Activity DOES make a huge difference! I am just trying to move more rather than just exercising once a day and sitting and reading or sewing the rest of the day. More movement from more housework equals a better-looking house AND yard: I garden when the weather is decent. The more weight I lose, the more I FEEL like moving, which can only help more. Especially if I keep up with my healthy eating. It's been a good week-and-a-half so far since I got serious again. I hope to keep up the momentum when I am out of town later in the month. I need to figure out a good reward! Non-food, of course. Since I'm a quilter, perhaps some more fabric?

    Your blog is very motivating. I am going to print it and put it on my fridge. It is only noon so the day is young and I have just decided to get back on track starting now. Thanks for the motivation.
