Strategies When I Get Off Track in My Program

Life is always throwing us curves that can derail us from our fitness program. It helps to think ahead and have some strategies when this happens. AUG. is a perfect example for me, as it is jam packed with parties, picnics, and vacation. Easy to get off track.
What can I do if this happens? Give up and give myself permission to eat recklessly for another week due to guilt? NOT!!

The best thing to do is to acknowledge that you're not perfect and don't waste energy berating yourself for overindulging. Instead, it is time to do some small things right away to get back on your program--take a short walk, track a meal you just ate, drink more water, etc. That way you can minimize your setback and feel good about yourself. You can do it!
