You have those times when you know something is not quite right, especially when dealing with your body, but you feel like you must be exaggerating because nobody believes you? Well, I am hoping that we find proof to some pain I have had ever since a car accident in 2002. I have been limited in some movement of my shoulders due to pain, not loss of range of motion. An acupuncturist felt the area, then asked if it hurt, pinpointing the area closer. In conjunction with another doctor's exam of the area, they concluded an MRI was the next course of action to see what may be going on in there since it has been such a long term, chronic issue now. So that is scheduled for this Thursday, and I figure I will probably hear something within the next two weeks. I figure I am doing the anti-inflammatories and ice packs already. I learned about some exercises to try and strengthen the muscles and tendons, so I will work on that also. I do not want steroid injections due to my reactions to prednisone. It scares a little to think of surgery as the only other option. I will see what happens.
