Truth!!! This is a 'Jen AKA JFO' public service announcement :

Assuming and asking ANY woman if she is pregnant... that is not literally giving birth in front of you... especially when you are not related or close friends with her... is beyond RUDE!

When I first started gaining weight, I was asked "How far along I was" so many times I couldn't even give you a ballpark of occurrences... from men to women that I am not even friends with! I'm talking from the CNA's who took care of my mom... to the Deli Guy at the corner store!!?!?!

And nothing was more difficult than explaining through gritted teeth that "I was not pregnant" but that I had an "enlarged thyroid and my doctor hadn't figured out why yet" ...

Oh yeah, except holding back every urge in my being to NOT punch the person asking me in the orbital cavity!

It was very tough for awhile for me to go from a lean mean size double zero muscle bound machine around age 19 to being overweight and lethargic at 25 ... but only now that I'm back on track... feeling much healthier... and down 27 pounds in 3 months... I can honestly laugh when people say an underhanded negative comment about my weight.

The extra weight has been very frustrating in the past few years... but the enlarged thyroid and inability to lose the weight for health reasons was always my main concern.

Stay confident, at ANY SIZE ladies! Most of those models you look up to for weight standards only LOOK healthy! It's either due to heavy drug use, eating disorders and plastic surgery. Believe in your own beauty at all times and forget what judgemental morons have to say about it! You are your own judge, jury and executioner... what you believe in your heart is the ultimate truth!
LOVE YOURSELF as you are!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon
