Little by Little

Little by little I'm getting caught up with work, but my eating habits are suffering. I'm struggling to find that happy balance between the two.😒 Some days I've eaten fewer than 1000 calories, others around 1300. Frustrating. Plus my other line of work is picking up as well. Just not enough hours in a day anymore. 😞 Tomorrow I'll be spending the day out on the water do some hunting and scouting. Gonna be a chilly morning...Brrr! I'm hoping to find some balance again. I've not lost one single lb in a while now just a steady plateau at 137. SUCKS! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.😊 Hope y'all have a safe & happy weekend.😄

    All you can do is your best! Looks like the pictures are coming along nicely! I hope you do indeed find a balance with your eating and work. It is certainly hard. More often than not I have found myself forgetting to eat lunch until 2-3pm this past week, no matter how early I ate breakfast (I'm a late waker so it's usually between 8-9am). That's what happens sometimes when we're really busy and enjoying what we're doing, or at least are super determined to get it done!

    It sounds weird, but maybe you aren't eating enough.
    My weight is about the same as yours and my recommended calories for weight loss are more around the 1250- 1500 mark. I suggest bump up the lean protein a hair!
    1000 calories is not enough ~ especially as active as you are ~ rev up the metabolism by kickin' in a few more cal's........Are you drinking enough water? emoticon
    My problem is I live to eat ~ you eat to live!!

    I can relate. I'm as busy as you are. Try a good snack like Zone Perfect. It's a great granola bar with better ingredients. It's a bit pricey but worth it. Wallyworld sells them at the pharmacy/health foods section.

    I don't plan on ever giving up. 👍 Just frustrated. I focus so hard on the task at hand and my food intake gets kicked aside. I'm trying, it's difficult for me to focus on multiple things. I work hours on end then POOF I realise I haven't eaten. UG

    I wonder if finding that happy balance would be what you need to get the scale moving DOWN and you spirit UP.
