Epidural today

Wednesday, November 11, 2015

This morning I was in a lot of pain. Didn't sleep well and got up at 3:00 AM. Took a hot shower and used a cold pack. I was able to do some reading and worked on the computer.

The epidural went very well. The Doctor is so gentle I hardly felt the needles. Have been taking it very easy and actually took a 3 hour nap. Have to take it easy tomorrow. Last time I felt so good I over did it.

Friday I will get the car detailed, pay bills, work on my marketing, get laptop tuned up and go to a meeting.

It feels like August here in South Florida. Could be worse. We have no snow.
My plants are doing very well and soaking up the sunshine.
Happy Memorial Day everyone!

It is windy here and has cooled off but we did not get the bad storms.

I agree. Take it easy and don't overdo.

Hope your epidural relieves your pain...I'd love the SUNSHINE in your state...It's been rainy, windy & overcast this week but SO FAR at least no WHITE STUFF!!!

    Have a great week!

I hope you have some lasting pain relief.
yes, be grateful you don't have snow. I myself prefer the heat.
I moved to NC after living in Safety Harbor for over 20 years and
still trying to adjust to the cold. I think this is as far North as I can handle.

A relative of mine, too, found some relief for his back pain following some epidural painkiller administration. In his case, he may have nerve-block surgery (or ablation) once it's determined that the problematic nerves have been identified. His next step is to have the nerves on the left side identified, and then he should be ready for ablation surgery. They predict he'll do well.

I sure do hope you will, too - better days ahead to you!

Glad you're feeling better. Hope it works for quite a while. Up here in the NE corner of the state it has cooled down quite nicely and we're able to open up the house and get a little breeze through.

Glad it went well! I can think of worse places to recuperate. At least this time of year.
