My Thanksgiving letter to God
Wednesday, November 25, 2015
Even though I wasn't able to move to a better home this year, I'm grateful that I'm not homeless and that I have a place that I can call my own and for this I say, "Thank You."
Even though I haven't moved up in my career yet like I desire to, I'm grateful that I have a decent job with decent benefits and for this I say, "Thank You."
Even though I sometimes complain a little too much about expenses, I'm grateful that you have always made a way and open doors for me that I have never had any evictions, repossessions, utility shut off or an empty refrigerator and for this I say, "Thank You."
Even though I might not have my dream car yet, I'm still grateful that you have provided me with reliable transportation and for this I say, "Thank You."
Even though my health has been challenged this year as a result of some of the bad choices that I've made over the years, because of your goodness and mercy, you' ve brought me through it and is giving me the grace to get my temple (body) in a healthy place and for this I say, "Thank You."
Lord, the thing that I'm grateful for the most is when you saw me going down the road of destruction on my way to hell, you called out to my through your word and offered me salvation through your son Jesus Christ and for this I say, "THANK YOU."
Thanksgivings for me is not about the turkey and all it's fixings but reflections and thankfulness for all you've done in my life. Life hasn't always been easy but through all the peaks and valleys, you have carried my through and for this I say, "Thank You."
