Diet & Old Age

I just subscribed to an old age blog, and realize that Sparks oldest members have additional issues. For example, I had 8 of my back teeth pulled and am now trying to use partial dentures. Painful! I've been eating soft food for a while now, and want some of my favorite food. The first try, I took the dentures out before I even finished half the soft meal I was trying. This time I just put the bottom in, and again had to remove it at about the same point.

The subject of the blog was dropping things. I feel like I'm in my second adolescence, knocking things over, off end tables etc. Makes me a messy cook in the kitchen.

I welcome any experiences you can share.

So...this was the mail I was answering when I lost it. I THINK.
As the saying goes "old age is not got sissies." (guess that is how it is spelled!)
If I sent this. or similar. please forgive.
My hubby & I both had partial plates and we could not stand them. Food would get caught under them. so out they would come.
we gave up on trying to use them. I can chew mainly on the right side of my mouth, the left side has too few teeth to do much good.
I have a bad front tooth but it holds a bridge that needs to be there, k
My parents both had false teeth for as long as I can remember.
Well. now I must stop and get ready for bed (recliner) takes a while for me to do most things as it is difficult when in a chair.
Night to all and or good morning. Sending hugs & loving thoughts, Betty

I had a friend who decided to swing in the park, as he was up in the swing, his teeth flew out across the park
