Had a spinal fusion about 3 months ago and I'm wanting to start stretching and exercising. Desperately needing help any ideals?

    Can u ask tbe Dr if stretching in a nice warm.pool after u have completely healed is good? :-) U r going to also learn patience... :-)

    I know nothing about spinal fusion, but I did see this recently on the Daily Spark. It's about a disabled vet who became a runner, started with yoga. Have you seen it?

    I had mine Dec 1. I just doing lite stretching. I was told it can take anywhere from 6 months to a year to fully heal.

    I had two spinal fusion, one 10 yrs ago, I find swimming is a great exercise for back issues

    Try gentle stretches at home like childs pose, cat and cow poses, or sphinx pose, then maybe try a yin yoga class?
