How long 'till this sticks?

I fell completely off the wagon last week. I was away at a conference, had two days off after that, and got a puppy dropped in my lap. I am still tired, and a little alarmed at how fragile my healthy habits seem to be...

I am working to make this a lifestyle, but it seems like any day I am out of the routine is a disaster. I have been at this all year, so you would think that was enough time for a habit to stick. I guess I am a hard case.

So back to work!

    It's all about the journey. Think about where things went off track, and how you will deal with it the next time. Make sure your expectations are realistic. Progress, not perfection.

    I have been going for 93 days now and still have those days that make me think ...."What the Heck". But I am having more positive days than negative, so I am gaining ground! Hang in there it will happen if you let it!!!! :)

    Definitely agree with 1Crazydog!! It takes longer than 28 days for me as well...get back on track, you can do this!! emoticon

    Hang in there. Literature says it takes 28 days to make a behavior a habit. BUT, I find reality is that it takes longer. And that's all right. We just have to keep doing it! It WILL become a habit.
