What I learned yesterday

Yesterday I was awake at 3am & couldn't get back to sleep..not an unusual occurrence for me. However at 4:30am I decided to make breakfast: 1/2 packet high protein oatmeal, flax, 3oz greek yogurt & 3/4 cup raspberries. I thought all I would need would be coffee at the office & I'd be good for a while. Well, I started craving the fried egg sandwiches co-workers were eating, then goodies started arriving, I did well through lunch when the candy arrived..turned it down, then had a third of a fun size bar & well you know it went downhill from there. I learned I can't eat so early, too many "eating" hours leaves me vulnerable & I learned I need to plan to cope with an office full of goodies. I' m starting with frozen grapes & looking for other ideas. Btw being off today I did really well & feel better about managing.
