Starting Over In So Many Things

Since I was here last, I've gained a few more pounds... but published four books, so there's a trade off there.
Over the summer, I was given a Garmin Vivofit Tracker for my birthday. I've been enjoying using it to track my steps and my sleep, but I've been finding the Garmin food and exercise apps difficult to use and sync with the device.
I just realized today, while visiting Spark again, that I can now sync my Garmin Tracker with Spark! If this actually works, then I can easily track my food and exercise again! That would be great. I really enjoy the Spark app on my phone, it makes tracking super easy and fun. To have that back would make sticking with the program a lot easier.
You see, I've been lax on my exercise program because I've been extremely busy writing, editing other people's books, and attending a multitude of book signing events. There hasn't been a lot of time or energy to do all that exercise and tracking nonsense.
However, with winter arriving, and no more signing events until June of 2017, this is the perfect time to work on these goals again. I'm participating in NaNoWriMo this year... I made a public announcement that my next book will be go to press by August of 2017, which means I really need to write! The nice folks at NaNoWriMo have a nifty app - similar to Spark - to track my writing, so I've got that going for me.
Now, if I can just make time to get on the treadmill, my ab machine, and walk the dogs... not to mention eat a little bit more intelligently, I just might be able to fit into that dress I wanted to wear at the costume ball for the signing event in August!
If anyone is looking for an accountability buddy, let me know. The more support and nagging I can get, the better! :-)
In the meantime, if you're interested in following my writing career, you can find my website and blog at www.DKPWriter.com
Have a great November, everyone!
