30 day "Dress Up" challenge

Saturday, November 12, 2016

I'm a stay at home mom and I have started to use this as an excuse to not do my hair, or put on makeup, or put on cute clothes. My excuse is usually because I'm in a hurry, and I have to get dressed in the dark most mornings so I don't have to wake up my boyfriend. I usually just throw on jeans and a tshirts or wear my workout clothes all day. Most days I don't match or wear jewelry. I make such an effort to get my boys dressed in cute outfits each day and I forget I should probably do that for myself too. Yes, I know I should let my 10 year old pick his own outfits, but he's color blind so his outfits don't match if I don't. I don't want him to get teased for not matching. If anyone has any colorblind kids that could give me some advice on this that would be great! Today I decided I'm going to make an effort to match my cute kids. I want to look put together too. I decided to do a 30 day challenge after I was organizing my sock drawer and discovered I have 30 pairs of really cute tights that I would love to wear. I'll lay my clothes out the night before and that way I'm not feeling rushed in the morning. I picked out paisley velvet tights, a leather circle skirt, and a black sweater to wear today, and I feel so pretty! That hasn't happened in ages! Wish me luck!

I've decided I want to dress like a 3-year old; striped knee high socks with Mary-Janes, tu-tus and tennis shoes; puffy dresses and tennis shoes... I'm just not sure when to start emoticon

30 consecutive days of tights sounds like my nightmare. ;-) But I know what you mean and wish you luck! I stepped up my outfit game this summer and have loved it!

That way they can be in control of there style and they only have to get in one drawer a day. Works great with really little kids also.

I don't have kids but have babysat and worked in daycares for 20 years. Organize your child's drawers so they will always match. Top drawer green pants and shirts that match. Next blue and shirts that match ect. Get the idea works great.
