New Year, New Progress

Trying to get my mind right after the holiday feasting. It definitely took me a few weeks. Gained about 5 pounds over the Christmas month, but have since lost about 3 of those pounds. I am trying to focus on new progress and just trying new things in my journey, in general. I've enjoyed looking for new recipes. Also bought some protein powder from Wal-Mart that I'm using for some mornings or after my workouts. It is a plant-based organic formula so I feel pretty safe and good about drinking it. If you are not used to drinking protein powder shakes, it may take some getting used to. It does have a texture to it, but now that I am more used to it, it doesn't bother me as much. I like the protein and nutrient values it adds to my day. Also it has a good taste - just gotta get used to the texture if you're new to powders. I mix mine with unsweetened coconut milk and 1 banana usually. Also tried a new low impact aerobic workout yesterday on Youtube with Jenny Ford. I really liked it. Check her out if you haven't.
