2 grand girls

I have 5 granddaughters who I call my grand girls. Today I will go visit the 2 youngest . It is over an hour away. When I visit I am tempted to stop on the way home to get an unhealthy snack like fries, chicken nuggets etc. Wrong fats poor or little protein no fiber and wrong grains. Today I am packing a lunch for the car.1.3 oz almonds, 1.7 oz macadamias 2 oz cashews, waters, cheese 2 slices. Probably I will not eat it all but if I have plenty of food that won't effect blood sugars too much I should manage better. The struggle also is that when I am at my sons house, the girls are fed lots of carbohydrates so I don't want to eat anything they are having, so my strategy is to have a portable snack just before arriving and having something in the car after I leave. If I plan and prepare I do much better. Have a great day Spark friends
