AYITL - Blog #19 - Weigh In Day!

When you wake up in the morning and you tell yourself this...

And then your mind tells you this...

This was my morning. But luckily I weighed in early this morning and didn't have to torture my mind for long!


Nothing! I weighed EXACTLY the same as I did last week. (and I have a Weight Watchers scale so it's down to the 10th of a lb) Usually in the past I would let this get me down. Why is the hard work leading to NOTHING? Instead this morning I felt good about it. I hadn't gained. My work wasn't for nothing, it was to make sure I stayed under 130 lbs! Now am I looking to push hard and weigh exactly 129 lbs throughout it all - not particularly. And if I do, and I have to deal with this being the weight my body stays at as I tone - I'll cross that bridge when I come to it!

But today I say -

Last night's Crossfit class was intense and great and I came home hungry! Luckily I already had dinner planned out and it didn't take super long to prepare. DH has eaten french fries like 4 times in the last week or so but of course the night I make burgers - he's over eating fries and wants a salad! At least he made a healthy choice for his side! I tried to get him to eat zucchini fries with me but it wasn't happening! Too bad for him -they were delicious!

This weekends plan to stay healthy includes my day of drinking to be on Sunday for the Superbowl, Crossfit tonight, a drop by to Crossfit tomorrow and either a walk or a video on Sunday. Tonight we're having game night with some friends and I'm thinking tomorrow night we could do dinner and a movie. Planning to stay away from the bar on the nights I don't want to drink. Hoping it works! DH isn't always the best influence!
