Challenge Assignment- Exercise

When I started my spark journey about a year ago I could barely do anything physical. Just walking through a parking lot to the store was hard. I had to get a handicap sticker because it was so painful. I became determined to lose weight so I had to find a way to get more fitness in my day. I started walking to the mailbox at my development. then it increased to walking to the pharmacy. Next I was walking a mile in 20 minutes. I just kept pushing. My better half brought me an elliptical and when I got on it I thought my legs would fall off. I went for 30 seconds at first. When I walked past it I would get on it more and more. Now I can do 20 minutes on it. I can also do walk away the pounds, Richard simmons and I even do a belly dancing workout. It has been a good motivator to see myself being able to do more and more. I also regularly strength train. That was something I avoided at all cost before. I'm proud of myself and I have even motivated some family members to join me. My dad and I do a two mile walk around the lake every Sunday. I am blessed and grateful.
