Today I went to my favourite conservation park-Scott Creek with DH. We did over 5 kms of varied terrain walking on a loop track we hadn't walked previously. I was so pleased to reach the crest of one hill. It was a particularly long time in coming as every time we thought we had reached the top there was more. The view along the ridge track was spectacular providing views both north and south as we continued on and well worth the effort expended making the ascent. The track descending was undulating and provided more opportunity to enjoy the landscape and plants.
I have included some images of the stringybark woodlands and one of the Western Grey Kangaroo that was out to feed in the late afternoon.
