Struggling but not giving up

Wednesday, May 17, 2017

As if having 2nd eye surgery, since May10th & still unable to drive since Apr 11th isn't crummy enuf..my 89 yo dad has had 3 unknown heart attacks in 2 wks (long crazy story) with the 4th one this past Sun on Mother's Day...aka mom's actual birthday too! I'm unable to fly bc of my eyes, which meant I was unable to be there for mom or sister. Dad has dementia on top of it all. I have been trying so hard not to lose ground with my health, diet & exercise but found myself eating most all of the brown sugar I had today while waiting for the outcome of his heart catheterization. So now that I've been on my own pity pot feeling sorry for myself & whoa is me...typing this with one eye covered a pr of reading glasses on & a hand magnifying glass to confirm what I hope to be keying in w my index finger here in the dark on my phone...I am thankful to be able to do this even as insane or silly as it may sound. I'm grateful God IS God & that I'm not & He will help me through & w all of this. Thank you Spark friends for not giving up on me even though I've been silent. This doesn't come ez for me LOL but I know to keep looking up. It is important to me that I say these things to be accountable & so others having struggles know they too are not alone. I am praising, trusting & choosing to turn it over to Him. Blessings of peace & comfort will. come. Amen

Yes, looking to Him is the way to go despite of the "dark places" you are in right now. Believing and thanking Him for all the blessings to come.
The Lord is with you always wherever you may be.
