What to do when the black dogs come around?

In the middle of a major depressive episode right now and boy does it make everything more difficult. I don't even want to get out of bed, much less walk 2 miles or cook a healthy dinner. So I take it easy on myself. I eat a lot of salads, cereals, and sandwiches, all which can still be healthy and protein-packed without major cooking. I turn on my most motivational playlist and dance around the living room with dumbbells, and if the sun comes out, even for a minute, I push myself to go for a 1/4 mile walk. They add up! Coming to this site and reading the inspirational stories also helps. I know this depression won't last forever and I'm determined not to let it completely undo the work I've done, while giving myself permission to take it a little easier on myself for a while.
