10/4/17 Where Does My Joy Come From....

Wednesday, October 04, 2017

..... hubby and I decided to join forces and get slim and healthy together. First order of business..... playing a round of Disc Golf with our own frisbees in the beautiful park behind our house. Followed by a walk. And we took the poodle along.

.....hubby had ordered a kilt after we attended the New York Renaissance Faire a few days ago. It didn't quite fit, so we found ourselves a UPS box and returned it. But just knowing that we will get him all decked out for the next Faire makes me snicker. I can't wait.

....we took the garbage to the dump. This always makes me happy for some reason. I love dump runs. And on the way back the moon looked huge, full, and amazing. I am truly glad we got to see that.

What a wonderful day all around Ute! So glad you decided to do this together. It's the best kind of support you can have. I know when hubby is truly engaged, there's nothing I can't do.

Take care and have a super day!

You know.....I don't think it really matters where joy comes from...it matters that we can feel joy, and be aware of the great things in our lives.

A man in a kilt --- there is nothing like it! I also completely get the taking the garbage out -- there is a certain happiness in the feeling that you are getting rid of thing you no longer need or want!
