Try, try, try ... again and again and again.

Looking at the past 3 years of posts, it is all about starting again and no follow through. I always let something else take over and didn't follow through. Not any more.

A lot has changed in my life since I joined this website in 2008, ten years ago and since I had my initial successful weight loss in 2011 that I maintained for about two years after (within 20 pounds. Here I am though back to my initial weight from 2008. I am starting from a much better perspective though with a lot of wisdom under my belt. At the same time, it is all new again.

It's not a bad place to be. I like myself more than I ever did ten years ago and I am aware that there is much more to me than a number on a scale or a picture of my body that is overweight. I am not hurt by reality. But I am making daily changes to how I live out my reality that will lead to a long-term result.

My starting pictures below and my measurements (stats) are updated.




Current Weight: 244
Goal Weight: 134
Current Measurements: 47, 43, 53
Goal Measurements: 38, 28, 38

Time frame allotted to reach goal and begin maintaining: Now until April 29, 2019 by the time I turn 44 years old. That's 474 days from now.

    Thing rings so true with me that I almost could have written it myself. Unlike you I never make it all the way to the goal but seem to enjoy some success and then stop paying attention and end up back where I started. ❤️. Faith!
