Hubby left for NC this morning to start our new adventure.
He starts his new job on Wednesday. It's been a mad rush to get our house ready to sell. We signed the agreement with the realtor Sunday morning, and the house will go on the market this Friday. That gives me a few days to finish up all the last, little details and decluttering that needs to happen. Hubby got so much done this past month, with this weekend being crazy busy. He got the rail built on the front porch, cleaned out the shed (who knew squirrels would collect every.single.walnut from our back yard and store them in the shed!), and tidied the yard and put mulch down. I've been busy with packing up and decluttering. We did have the moving company rep come and do an evaluation for the relocation company.
The relocation company is handling EVERYTHING! Finding 3 realtors for us to choose from here and down in NC, the moving process, setting us up with a mortgage company down there, and they are paying for closing costs and the movers. We aren't even supposed to pack anything! I still have to in order to declutter, but I worked on the garage and everything will be nice and neat in bins for them to move. I'll leave the everyday stuff for them to pack, like dishes and such.
The kids, my MIL and I are heading down next Tuesday for Spring break. Hubby is going to get in touch with the realtor down there and set up some time for me while we're there. We've been looking on Realtor.com and found quite a few options so far. Lots of new construction going on too. We are hoping that our current house sells fast so we can get moving on a house there. If it does, the kids and I will move in with my MIL for the duration until school gets out in early June. It will happen all in God's timing. He's got this under control. We just need to trust and do our part.
Well, that's the update so far. It's only day 1 so we'll see how it goes.
I'm going to try to get into a new routine with exercise so I can knock Hubby's socks off when he sees me in June. Plus, my bday is June 30 and I'd love to get as close as I can to One-derland. Time to get back to tracking my food too. It's been stressful so lots of emotional eating lately. Ugh!
I've got new motivation! This is a new adventure and I want to be at my best - for my family and for myself. I'm worth it, darn it!
