My Recipe for Success

I read a blog this morning that was simply amazing! It really spoke to me. When you get moment you should really stop by @Ceriusly blog....


The 5% challenge really is about replacing old habit and instilling with new healthy ones. I do not think I have lost 5% of my weight except in the first 2 challenges I did.

I have had a lot of serious health issues which if you ever read any of my blogs you know all about. Compile those issues with lots and lots of medication and it is a recipe for disaster for my physical health. Several of the meds I have to take for life can cause weight gain. The 5% Challenges have helped me to maintain instead of gain. I would have been lost without them. I have replaced so many bad habits with new ones. So I am happy with that. Am I satisfied? No way! I will keep trying to lose and I will continue to join the 5% challenges. They are my lifeline.

After reading @Ceriusly blog I came up with my own recipe for success.

If you multiply the number of cups by 10%, you get 100%. How can I fail with numbers like that?

Anyway, I will keep joining the 5% challenges as long as they will have me. I have made some very good friends that are very important to me and they have become my support system. I happen to believe that I am on one of the best teams in the entire challenge, the Shooting Stars!!
