Happy Fri-yay!!

Friday, June 08, 2018

Happy Friday fellow Sparklers! I am so ready for the weekend! Anyone have some fun plans? I think I'm going to be packing up some stuff that I do not need hanging around the house; clearing it out to get ready to put the house on the market! Woo Hoo! No stress here, right?! lol This is step 2 in my goals. First was passing my CHES exam. Check. Now I must sale the house. Then find another house to rent and start looking for jobs away from the midwest. emoticon And finally, moving. Not finally, really. Just find another place to rent and then within a year another house. Blah blah blah. Soooo not there yet! lol Those last goals seem to be so far off right now. Baby steps! emoticon

Can anyone else relate? lol emoticon

My dear, delightful, wonderful hubby is supposed to be working on the landscaping. emoticon I say supposed to be because almost every weekend he is finding at least 4 hours, sometimes more, to play golf. I've done my best not to say anything, but we're going on the middle of June. My initial goal was to have the house on the market by Memorial Day weekend. I was sick for a month so I had no time to help with ANYTHING! I get it-my fault. So our second goal was mid June. It's not looking good. I may have to light a fire under him! lol emoticon

I also think Saturday afternoon after he gets done playing golf he wants to go watch a movie and have dinner--date night. It will be fun to get away for the evening. Kind of escape so to speak.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, stay cool and enjoy yourselves while spending time with family, friends and loved ones!

See ya next week!

XOXOX,

Kiliki, a.k.a. Christy

Awesome post. I have a similar problem with my hubby. If I get tired of waiting on him I start doing and then he will break down and do it cause he doesn't want me to do it. Works every time, LOL emoticon emoticon

Yes, Happy Friday! You are so motivating...you've already accomplished a lot, and have even more big plans ahead! Moving is a lot of work, but it sounds like you have it planned out. It's a great time to declutter. (I often say the only way I'll get my clutter under control is if I have to move!). Maybe your hubby doesn't see all the work that needs done before you can put the house on the market. Maybe making a list is in order, so he can visualize it all, and see why you feel the stress of the to-do list? On one hand, it's good that he has an outlet like golfing to enjoy. You should enjoy some "me time" while he is doing that, so you don't feel like you are working while he is playing. You deserve it!

Thanks again for your motivating blogs. After reading your blogs and those of another SparkFriend, I've decided it's time to reset my weight ticker and set my summer goals, and get serious about my plan again. I wrote a blog outlining my goals. Wish me luck! And I wish you all the best with your goals too! Enjoy your date night and your weekend!

emoticon Happy Fri-Yay to you too! I am so lucky that my DH isn’t addicted to golf.

I can absolutely agree with the moving. Packing seems daunting but so does unpacking. Especially when you move into someplace smaller. I just moved 3 months ago & am still unpacking & finding stuff. Never sure if it's here or the storage shed. 🙃
