Recovery Slow But Still Moving Forward

Fall is one of my favorite seasons! I LOVE the cooler weather. However, since my injury, my back is screaming at me to stay in bed on these cool mornings. As much as I'd like to oblige, I know the best thing is to get up and moving - however slow that is.

I started going for short walks at work this week. Although I'm not up to my normal pace or stride, I'm happy that I'm able to move (forward) - constantly grateful for how far I've come and know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

    Oh, raChelle, this is great that things are at least progressing! I'm sure it has to frustrate you at times, you're so used to being active. I expect you'd like to take your bike out for a ride and enjoy the fall. Soon enough! Slow and active recovery is best for this. emoticon

    Keep up ;the good work. It takes lots of motivation to crawl out of the nice warm bed and do what needs to be done. Prayers you are back up to speed soon.
