Sugar Cravings Day 3!

So I am journaling my sugar cravings...
Yesterday I tried to eat whole foods, no added sauces, just seasonings.
At Breakfast I had an apple and coffee (I'm never hungry at breakfast)
No sugar cravings.
At lunch I ate leftover veggie stirfry with an egg added to it. Then a piece of whole wheat honey bread I baked toasted with a little whipped butter.
Half an hour later I was digging around looking for something sweet. I did the elliptical instead for 17 minutes with my sore knee and it didn't give got (NSV) and I worked up a sweat which was good. Then I did some strengthening exercises. I was good and didn't cave in.
My daughter came home from her trip to the cities so we talked and I was occupied. I got supper ready, sheet pan broccoli and cabbage and chicken drumsticks and dressing. I put BBQ sauce on my chicken.
Supper: Hunters home and supper about ready. I ate 3 drumsticks, tons of the cabbage broccoli, a little dressing, and some leftover squash I had baked the other day.
Read a book then watched a movie with my family (Monty Python and the holy Grail)
10 PM, in the kitchen looking for something sweet. Ate 2 twizzlers, AGAIN!! Then a funsize M & M's my friend gave me in my birthday present! I had put them up in the cupboard!Away from me. The hunters keep bringing back the candy I sent out to the cabin!! I can't be trusted with the twizzlers, the sugar babies are safe. I finally went to bed to quit snacking. I also had 7 pringles chips. I still had between 125-200 more cals I could eat but decided that i really wasn't hungry, just bored.
NSV of going to bed and quit snacking! I stayed within my calories.
I may try incorporating a little sweet snack so I don't feel deprived and think I have to sneak one from myself. I don't know who I think I am fooling?? Myself I guess. Next is to tackle hidden sugar. I'm not sure if I will give that up yet.
For now, I'll heep on trying.
