How often do you take your measurements?

When I first started this journey in 2014, I weighed 171 pounds. I was totally miserable. I have a 5 acre farm with one horse. I get overwhelmed sometimes with the amount of "pasture care" that is required to keep grass in the pasture. I spend a lot of time outside. When I was heavier, I sustained a rash where the stomach fold is. Plus my thighs would rub and I'd get one there too. If I didn't use barrier cream I would certainly know about it. During an aha moment, I realized that I needed to do something about it. My measurements were totally embarrassing. I am 5 ft tall and to be carrying around all that weight was absurd. I found SparkPeople and the rest is history. I take my measurements monthly. It is exciting to see how the circumference of my abdomen, arms, thighs and hips have shrunk over the past years. For me it is another reason to keep a chart (or use the Spark People tracker) to keep tabs on my progress. What a motivation to look back on. I am at goal, but I still take my measurements monthly. I am very proud of my accomplishment to reach the goal weight I set. I Thank God daily for leading me to SparkPeople. Without whom I could not have done it.
