give up

Tuesday, March 26, 2019

on so many things I feel like I have already given up on myself and I mourn the loss of my dreams. I don't know how to get back the spark of life. I don't know how to feel worth it.

You and I were Spark Friends until you got angry because I was always suggesting that you get counselling. I've been following you off and on since then, but not writing.

Reading your blogs today, I see that you've lost 60 lbs... congratulations! and moved to a small village in England, which I hope will work out really well for you.

But you still sound so unhappy. Please think about asking your new doctor (once you get one; not sure how that works in the U.K.) to refer you to a psychologist or psychiatrist... both good options; in my experience the important thing is finding one you feel you can work with... and get some help.

There really is help out there, and you deserve to feel better... for yourself and for your family.

How do you like your new house? How do you like living in England? How are the kids adapting? I totally understand your blog and don't know what to say about that. Been down that road.

Pick yourself up look in the mirror and tell yourself you can, will and are worth it. Know you'll have bad days we all do but don't beat yourself up for it. You can do it we all believe in you are here to help you.

Life has a way of making us lose ourselves. I am in that process too. I'm trying to sort the me that I turned myself into to please others and change into the person I was always supposed to be.
