Scrambled Tofu Recipe

Saute in skillet: 1/2 cup chopped onions
2 T. water, plus 1 T. oil

Add: 2 C. firm tofu (1 pkg) and mash down with a fork until all scrambled (I just crumble with
my fingers.)

Add: 2 T. chives, chopped 1/4 t. garlic powder
1 T. chicken style seasoning 1/4 t. turmeric
1/2 t, onion powder 1/4- 1/2 t. salt
1 t. Brewer's yeast flakes (I add more)

Heat until flavors are blended. Tasty hot or cold as a sandwich filler.

Note: I often saute chopped green onions in place of the onions and omit the chives. The chicken style season I get at a local health food store...McKays vegan chicken style seasoning is my favorite. You can order from Amazon, too. I use it in so many recipes.
