I’ve learned from becoming a master coach and from losing 200 plus pounds that stating things in positive goals like I WILL or I WILL ADD instead of I won’t or I’ll avoid really helps turn your mindset around.

From a prior blog of mine, I wrote about the concept of building. To build is to add to. We are trying to build a healthy lifestyle. When we destroy something, we take away- leave a hole. Dieting usually involves taking away a food group or large amount of something. It leave a hole in our lives. That hole drives us nuts! We soon return to our old habits.

By building a healthy lifestyle instead of dieting, we create instead of make holes. How do you build a healthy lifestyle? You create healthy habits one by one.
